Currently, the SLiMS library management software has been updated to a new version (v9.5.1) with many improvements. However, the search function is experiencing an error where it cannot find document information (including searching by title, author, topic, etc.). To fix this error temporarily, please follow these steps:
- Download the edited DefaultEngine.php file and overwrite it into the slims\lib\SearchEngine folder (remember to backup the original DefaultEngine.php file before overwriting).
- Log in to the administration page with the highest-level administrator account, go to the "System" menu in the System Configuration section, select "SLiMS\SearchEngine\DefaultEngine" in the Search Engine section, and then save.
- Reload the opac homepage to see the results.
